1. Lesson Format: Live & Interactive on Zoom

Every lesson happens in real-time through Zoom — the same familiar, secure video platform many families already use for school or family calls.

Personalized 1-on-1 sessions: Your child gets the tutor's full attention — no group distractions.
Interactive & engaging: I use screen sharing for books, phonics activities, word games, reading passages, and fun digital tools. Your child reads aloud, practices skills, and gets immediate feedback and encouragement.
Structured yet flexible: Lessons follow a proven reading progression (phonics → fluency → comprehension), but are always customized to your child's current level, interests, and pace.

2. What Students Need (Super Simple Setup!)

I keep requirements minimal so families can start quickly:

Device: A computer, laptop, tablet, or even a larger phone screen works best (so your child can see books/materials clearly).
Internet: Stable connection for video calls (similar to Zoom or YouTube streaming). Test it once with a quick family video call.
Quiet space: A comfortable spot at home where your child can focus without too many distractions — a desk or table area is perfect.
Extras (optional but helpful): Headphones/earbuds (especially if others are home), a good microphone (built-in is usually fine), and paper + pencil/crayons for some activities.
No special software: Just a web browser and Zoom (free).

3. Lesson Length

I believe in focused, high-quality sessions that respect kids' attention spans:

All classes are charged per time slot:
Regular Class/Trails: 25 min - R140;
Double Class: 90 min - 280.
(Please note: All international payments will include a currency conversion fee.)
Classes are 25 - 90 minutes long to allow for thoroughness, patience, and a relaxed learning environment. (depending on the lesson Grade/Level).
Younger beginners (ages 4–7): Often start with 25 minutes to build confidence.
Scheduling: Flexible weekly times that fit your routine — same consistent slot each week helps build a habit, but we can adjust as needed.
