I am the creator of HomeRead HomeLearn, an innovative platform that offers interactive lessons

and auto-graded quizzes for Grades R - 9.  I also have Youtube lessons (LearnLab by HomeRead HomeLearn) using freely

accessible resources to allow children to participate.

My journey in education began when I started homeschooling my four children.  As a dedicated parent, I wanted to provide

them with the best education possible, tailored to their individual needs and learning styles.  This led me to develop my own

teaching methods and resources, which eventually evolved into HomeRead HomeLearn.

With over 14 years of tutoring experience, I have had the privilege of working with students from various backgrounds and age groups. 

This experience has allowed me to understand the unique challenges that students face in their academic journey.  I have witnessed firsthand the impact that engaging and interactive learning materials can have on a student's understanding and retention of knowledge.

Driven by my passion for education and my desire to make learning accessible to all, I embarked on the creation of HomeRead HomeLearn.  My goal was to develop a comprehensive platform that combines interactive lessons and auto-graded quizzes, providing students with a holistic learning experience.

​

Through HomeRead HomeLearn, I aim to empower students to take control of their education.  By offering interactive lessons, students can actively engage with the material, making learning a dynamic and enjoyable process.  The auto-graded quizzes provide immediate feedback, allowing students to track their progress and identify areas that require further attention.  Results and Certificates are downloaded in PDF format immediately after completing the quiz.

My vision for HomeRead HomeLearn is to create a supportive and inclusive learning community.  I believe that every student deserves access to high-quality educational resources, regardless of their background or circumstances.  With this in mind, I have designed the platform to be user-friendly with an inter connection.
